Assam Government Teacher Transfer Online Portal, Links Apply Process
Teacher is one of the three pivotal driving forces of a school. The onus of building the personality of a child lies mainly on the teacher. The RTE Act, 2009 has specified that for lower primary level (class I to V) there should be minimum two teachers and for upper primary (class VI to VIII) there should be at least one per class. To provide for the responsibility of the State Government to manage posting and transfer of teachers of elementary and secondary schools according to the requirement of teachers in school in order to maintain proper pupil teacher ratio for effective academic support to the students and for prevention of adverse effect on academic activities in schools the “Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers’ (Regulation of Posting and Transfer Act, 2020” has been put in place.Teachers apply for transfer from place of posting various grounds from time to time addressing which through offline mode consumes lot of time and complications. In order to address the issue promptly, portal for posting and transfer is being operationalized.
Teacher Transfer Portal online
The education department of Assam has launched a new online application portal named “Teacher Transfer Management System” for all the government teachers who are willing to be transferred. The objective behind this initiative is to reduce corruption and speed up the process by digitizing the process and maintain the Pupil Teacher Ration in schools. In this new digital process, the desired teachers will be able to submit their transfer request in the form of application on the official portal without visiting any office of the department. TTMS or Teacher Transfer Management System has been activated from 22nd November 2021 and all teachers are advised to submit their service profile details within 10th December 2021. After submitting the profile details, the application process will be started.
Eligibility
All the teachers of government/ provincial schools from lower primary to senior secondary schools are eligible to participate in this teacher transfer management system of Assam.

How to Submit Application online
Education Department, Assam has started Teacher Transfer Management System on 22nd November 2021 to reduce the hassle of traditional teacher transfer process. The TTMS has been developed to maintain the Pupil Teacher Ration (PTR) in the government/ provincial schools of Assam in respect of “Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers’ (Regulation of Posting and Transfer Act, 2020”.
For New Register for your Account you Have to Enter your basic information Name, DOB, gender, Mobile, email, and you have to create a new password for future reference or login .
Required Documents to Uploaded
Teachers need to upload some of their documents to complete the process of submitting Service Profile Details to the Teacher Transfer Management System. In this section, we have provided all the necessary information regarding the document upload process.

Note: For those teachers who had joined before 3rd September 2001, uploading of TET Marksheet/Certificate and D.El.Ed or B.Ed Marksheet is not mandatory.
